Matt Corradino

Matt became an instructor at The Tracker School starting in 2007, and is still dedicated to living and teaching grandfather's vision.  He took the standard class in 2000, was an Intern in 2002 and 2003, and was a caretaker in the primitive camp from 2004-2005.  After being hired by Tom, he lived in a primitive shelter for the next 6 years until moving to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he and his wife run classes when they are not teaching at The Tracker School.  Matt has a great depth of experience with all of the skills that Tom learned from grandfather and subsequently passed to his students.  He has spent thousands of hours practicing primitive survival in numerous different types of environments from the tropics to the boreal.  As well as teaching for Tracker School, he has taught both adults and children for many other schools, and appeared on History Channel's series, Alone.  Matt sees the skills of primitive survival to be vital and living, instinctively touching all human beings, and motivating us to feel connected to the earth and to our ancient forebears  "It's an honor for me to get to pass on the teachings of this lineage.  Tom taught me what it means to live a life guided by my vision, and gave me the tools to do it.  It's a cherished responsibility to inspire students in the same way that Tom did."
