Advanced Emergency Protection
So many of you have requested a follow-up class for the Emergency Protection on line class. As I’ve said, the one regret that I had when the program ended that there is so much more I could teach, need to teach, and at this point have to teach. Subsequently, I am doing a 5 hour Emergency Protection class on line called Advanced Emergency Protection. It will only be open to those of you who graduated the first Emergency Protection class. I refuse to review any of the information already given, due to the need for all of you to advance, and the limited time we have to do it.
After registration is complete, I will be sending out follow-up information and several exercises that I want you to do before the class begins. By doing this, you will have several days of practice with these new techniques, and will have experience by the time the Advanced Emergency Protection on line class begins.
First session: November 15th, 2014 7:00 to 9:00 pm EST
Second session: November 16, 2014 7:00 to 9:00 pm EST
Prerequiste: Emergency Protection
Note: Before you can volunteer for a class, you must have taken it first. Click here for more information on volunteering.
Volunteers are a vital part of making each class a success. Having graduates of a class available to answer questions and help out in workshops is of tremendous value to current students, and provides a much larger pool of people they can turn to for assistance. As well, volunteers help to prepare and serve meals, head up the student crews and assist Instructors and Interns in lecture and workshop preparation - all of which are essential when it comes to keeping classes running smoothly. And don't forget, whenever you're not needed as a helper, we encourage you to sit in on the lectures and participate in the exercises and workshops. It's a great way to brush up on your skills, or discover what you may have missed the first time around!
