INSTRUCTOR: Tom Brown Jr.

Folks, while teaching my "Conversations with Grandfather" course recently, I came upon a paragraph about "soul" that I felt was critically important, so I read it to the class. I also explained that the power, scope, and depth that Grandfather had to reach in order to understand these prophecies was inordinate. Truly - the prophecies became part of Grandfather’s very soul – and a whole different set of laws, techniques, and visions were awakened – the likes of which we rarely see in this world. I believe that Grandfather attained a level of purity, a kind of complete spiritual immersion that is almost incomprehensible to most people.

I also realized that a deeper, more meaningful exploration of this spiritual immersion is essential, right now. So what I’ve done is to rearrange our Tracker schedule so that I can teach this epic course, that I call "The Soul of the Shaman" in February, 2008, immediately before my much anticipated – everything plus the kitchen sink class, "Experimental Philosophy.

One of the reasons I started this series of intensives was to preserve Grandfather’s more difficult teachings, the ones that were too challenging to offer to a larger class. The primary tenet is to have fewer students so that I can explore new territory, and if we only get a 60-70% success rate, I can easily change directions – or, if need be – try again. In a small class I can say, "Hey gang, I don’t know if this is going to work – but let’s give it a try." And you’ll jump right in. I can sense each person’s energy and know if you’re on board – if you’re getting it, and react accordingly. In short, this kind of teaching is much more focused, much more like how Grandfather taught Rick and me, and I love it.

Now I want to warn you that these courses, "The Soul of the Shaman" and "Experimental Philosophy" are not for everyone. They are going to be extremely challenging, and we may make some mistakes along the way; but that’s where I want us to live – I want us on the razor’s edge.

I’m only going to allow 50 people into "Soul", so that we can be thorough, yet flexible. And I want a diverse group of folks who are willing to dig deep, explore entirely new territory, and get dirty. Those same people may want to stay on and transition right into "Experimental Philosophy", where we’ll try out ideas and concepts that I’ve only toyed with teaching, thus far. So, whether you have time for one or both, these two weeks are going to be extraordinary and I am already vibrating with the energy to start them. If you feel up to it – I’d love to share it with you.

‘Til then - All good medicine,

Tom
