This course puts all of your existing skills to the test by recreating the Apache Scout experience. You will live as the Scout did - travelling away from the "tribe" with little in the way of tools and equipment, gathering information from tracks and signs while on the move, going out on "raiding" parties, and hiding from enemies. The true Scout was always the last to pick up the lance, but when he did, he knew how to use it better than anyone else. Scout fighting techniques, martial arts, and other physical skills are an integral part of the class, and will help to push your skills far beyond that which you thought you were capable. All of this, while learning how to live and to observe as did the Apache Scout - the greatest survivalist of all. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the highly physical nature of Scout you must be able to walk at least 2 full miles without stopping before applying for this class.
