I have run the Power of Story class before and I’ve always wanted to take people further into the power, magic, medicine power, myth, and place of story that Grandfather passed down to me. Yes, story is a way of passing down history, teaching vital lessons, and of course entertainment with a purpose. I want to take the Power of Story further than I ever have before, approach it at a different angle and expand on things I’ve already taught. The Art, Power, and Science of Story Telling are following an ancient tradition that reaches back long before all written and even carved pictograph history. I want to bring in the ancient stories of Grandfathers people, their wanderings, their stories of teaching and enlightenment, and even those that entertain with a greater purpose. I want to teach you what Grandfather taught me, not only to tell a story and relive its power but also to move and inspire all those who listen. I’m especially going to bring into this class the Power of the Coyote teaching and how it becomes the foundation for all stories in all forms.
