I have long wanted to teach a class, or better put a gathering of people that would honor Grandfather, his life and his teachings. Not just a class that was focused on the stories of his life and wanderings, but where each story unlocked a profound teaching, spellbinding adventure, limitless inspiration and sources of enlightenment that we could integrate into our daily lives. Even with my book “Grandfather” and subsequent classes dealing with various aspects of his life, wanderings and teachings, I wanted to do more, teach more and enter aspects of his life, faith and Vision that I have never had the chance to tell in stories or in teaching. I wanted to teach the profound impact he has on my life, where even to this very day I am still in awe, using his life as a foundation for my own, both in Vision and in family.
Setting all the other teachings aside, including the preparation for the dark days ahead and all the other spiritual and physical teachings, I just wanted to dedicate this class to him and all that he has done, all those he reached and continues to reach to this very day. I want to take you into not only his everyday life and wanderings but also into the hidden areas of his search for meaning and purpose against all of the tremendous odds he faced and challenges he had to endure nearly every day of his life. Most of all I want to share with you his passion and dedication to an impossible Vision, a mission that drove his life to a point of extreme denial and estrangement from the land and people he loved and cherished, his family, just to follow what his Vision commanded of him.
